Revenue sharing in the mining sector

We are financial advisors to multiple Indigenous governments negotiating and renegotiating revenue-sharing agreements with project proponents. Our support includes monitoring and verifying payments to Nations.

Revenue sharing with the BC government 

We advise Indigenous governments in revenue-sharing negotiations with British Columbia. Negotiations support the development of a new fiscal relationship with the province and assist the implementation of the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act.

Natural gas pipeline revenue sharing

We acted as financial consultants to eight First Nation communities in Ontario and Québec. Our work assisted them in revenue-sharing negotiations for a proposed pipeline across their traditional territories.

Loss of use negotiations  

We provide analysis to Indigenous governments by preparing loss of use studies in both the mining and petroleum sectors in preparation for negotiations with Canada.
